K+S Potash Canada Renews Support to Inlet Spring Regatta

Once again, K+S Potash Canada is back in a big way, showing major support to the Inlet Spring Regatta which will take over Rocky Point Park and the waters of the Inlet on April 29.

K+S Potash Canada extracts potash crude salt which is further processed into three types of potassium chloride. Their products are used as natural fertilizers and compacted for use in a variety of industrial applications. Since 2017, Port Moody has been home to the company’s storage and transshipment facility.

“We’re thrilled to once again have the support of K+S, our Inlet neighbour,” said president Brian Kenny of Nothin’ Dragon Masters, organizers of the Inlet Spring Regatta. “This show of support proves that K+S Potash Canada remains committed to being involved in our community.“

“Supporting events and programs where our employees live and work is a priority for K+S Potash Canada. We are proud to support the Inlet Spring Regatta once again in 2023 and look forward to taking in all the great things the event has to offer,” said Paige Gignac, Community Investment Specialist, K+S Potash Canada.

“I am personally looking forward to visiting Port Moody for the first time and I am excited to meet the volunteers, paddlers, and community members. While at the event, please stop by our tent and say hello!”

The fourth annual Inlet Spring Regatta features 200m dragon boat races in BUK boats and attracts teams from throughout BC. The Regatta is the first dragon boat event of the season and features live music, yoga, a DJ, food trucks, vendors and a beer garden sponsored by Yellow Dog Brewing.
